Yamaha Recalls 2012 XTZ12B/BC for Fuel Pump Problem

Yamaha is recalling certain model year 2012 XTZ12B/BC (Super Tenere) motorcycles, manufactured from June 01, 2011, through August 31, 2011.

During the assembly process, the fuel pump o-ring may have been installed incorrectly in its groove.

The number of units affected is 1069.

Yamaha Recalls 2007 XVS1300/CT and 2009-2012 XVS95/CT for Fuel Leak

Yamaha is recalling certain model year 2009-2012 XVS95/CT (V Star 950/V Star 950 Tourer) motorcycles, manufactured from October 2008 through August 2011, and model year 2007 XVS1300/CT (V Star 1300/V Star Tourer) motorcycles, manufactured from August 2006 through March 2007.

There may not be a proper seal between the fuel pipes for the fuel injectors and the fuel hose that connects them due to an improperly molded fuel hose.

The number of units affected is 2800.

Yamaha Recalls 2009-2011 V-Max for Oil Pump Problem

Yamaha is recalling certain model year 2009-2011 VMX17 (V-Max) motorcycles, including the YB, YCB, ZR, ZCR AG and ACG variants, manufactured from September 2008 through April 2011.

On affected motorcycles, high oil pressure can build up inside the oil pump causing it to malfunction.

The number of units affected is 2300.

Yamaha Recalls 2011 FJR1300 for Brake Light Problem

Yamaha is recalling certain model year 2011 FJR1300 motorcycles manufactured from January 2011 through April 2011.

The brake light may not illuminate when the front brake lever is applied because the activating mechanism in the front brake switch can bind.

The number of units affected is 260.

Yamaha Recalls 2006-2009 FJR1300 for Electrical Problem

Yamaha is recalling certain model year 2006-2009 FJR1300 motorcycles manufactured from February 2006, through March 2009.

The ground joint connector of the wire harness could overheat and become deformed, possibly causing an intermittent ground wire connection. If the electrical system is not properly grounded, the ignition system and/or other electrical components could malfunction, which could cause the engine to stall.

The number of units affected is 9850.

Yamaha pulls the covers off 2010 FZ8 naked sportbike

The upper-middleweight naked bike segment, which currently has entrants from the likes of BMW, Aprilia and Ducati, is about to get an good ol' injection of Japanese know-how as Yamaha readies its upcoming new FZ8 for production. Yamaha apparently sees room for a machine that splits the difference between the smaller FZ6 (and FZ6R) and the full FZ1 naked literbike.

As far as we're aware, Yamaha has confirmed neither the FZ8 nor its fully-faired FZ8R sibling for North America (we'll keep you posted), but it seems possible the models could make it Stateside if there's sufficient interest... which is why we're bringing you this initial official image of the FZ8. So, what do you think?

Judging from the photo, the FZ8 appears to be based on the current FZ1, and internet rumors suggest the 800cc mill will be a downsized version of the former R1 engine with an identical stroke and smaller bore. We'll know soon enough – the official unveiling is scheduled for March 12 – but in the meantime, enjoy the teaser.

Yamaha wr 125, Konstruksi kepala silindernya mirip Yamaha Jupiter MX atau Yamaha Vixion. Tiap rocker arm menggerakan dua katup atau klep. Sistem pendingin sudah pakai radiator bukan mengandalkan sirip di blok silindernya, Kapasitas mesinnya memang hanya 124,7cc, tapi Yamaha mengklaim powernya mencapai 14,7 dk.
